Pompeo discussed with the foreign Minister of Canada the situation in Ukraine
U.S. Secretary of state Michael Pompeo spoke by phone with foreign Minister of Canada Christ Freeland.
This information was announced by the publication of Novoye Vremya, referring to the state Department. It is known that Pompeo and Milan discussed the problems of Ukraine.
“The Secretary of state Michael Pompeo spoke today with Minister of foreign Affairs of Canada Christ Freeland. They discussed the dispute between Saudi Arabia and Canada regarding Canada’s call for the release of activists. The Secretary also discussed Iran and Ukraine”, – reported in Department.
Recallthat during a telephone conversation between Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia and the US Secretary of state Sergei Lavrov expressed Mike Pompeo discontent with new sanctions Washington against Moscow over the poisoning substance “Beginner” Skripal:
“The Russian side had expressed a categorical rejection of the recently announced Washington’s new sanctions, citing the alleged information about the Russian involvement in the so-called “case Skrypalia”, – stated in the message.
As previously reported portal “Znayu”, the U.S. state Department urged Ukraine to raise gas prices for the population. In particular, Secretary Mike Pompeo during a telephone conversation with Peter Poroshenko said about the need to implement the remaining requirements of the International monetary Fund, according to the website of the American foreign Ministry.
Also, the portal “Znayu” reported that the US state Department had issued a formal Declaration on Crimea, which the US government itself equates to the Declaration of Welles in 1940-m to year. The document condemned the “occupation of the Baltic States by the USSR” and affirmed the rejection of America to their Soviet status.
