The perpetrators of large-scale accidents are often released in Ukraine.
So, reporters learned that the citizen of Kharkiv Andrey Poltavets, who was released early from a sentence for accidents with six victims, and then received a second period for driving under the influence, was released under the Amnesty.
This information was confirmed by head of sector media relations and public relations of Severo-East inter-regional Department for execution of criminal sanctions and probation service of the Ministry of justice of Ukraine Olga Kuznetsova.
According to her, Andrey Poltavets, who was serving a sentence in Krolewska correctional centre, No. 140, may 10, 2018, was released on Amnesty on June 8. Other information about drivers, according to her, she does not.
