flour — 1.75 cups

milk — 1 Cup

boiling water — 1 Cup

sugar — 2 cups

baking powder — 1.5 teaspoon

cocoa — 3/4 Cup

soda — 1.5 teaspoons

salt — 1 teaspoon

eggs — 2 pieces

vegetable oil — 1/2 Cup

vanilla — 1 packet

For the filling and impregnation:

500 g frozen cherries, pitted;

3 tablespoons of sugar;

30 g of alcohol (liquor, whiskey, brandy, rum), informs Rus.Media.

Cream — 2 choices:

1. 400 ml heavy cream;

100-150 g sugar.

1 sachet of vanilla

2. 2 sachets of vanilla cream

Chocolate for decoration


Fill the cherries with sugar and pour the liqueur or brandy, leave for 1 hour or more to berries gave the juice. Then the juice is poured.

Mix all the dry ingredients.

Whisk eggs with milk, oil and add to dry mass. Beat with a mixer couple of minutes. Pour the boiling water and stir until smooth.

Divide the dough into 3 parts.

Bake at 180 C for half an hour.

Boil the juice from the cherries for about 5 minutes until thick. Cool the syrup and impregnate them cakes.

For the cream:

whisk heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stable peaks.

For the second option:

follow the instructions on the bag.

Between the cakes, apply a layer of cream and cherries. Another cream applied from the outside across the surface.

Decorate the cake with cherries and grated chocolate.

Set overnight in the fridge to soak.
