Until the end of 2018, more than 100 schools of Kharkov will be equipped with video surveillance systems also enhance security of educational institutions. According to the mayor Gennady Kernes, this will help “locally” to solve the problem of incidents involving the spraying of hazardous substances in schools.
After the mass poisoning of children in school №3 of Kharkiv city authorities decided to take custody of all educational institutions. This was announced by the mayor of Kharkiv Gennady Kernes on his page in Facebook, reports Rus.Media.

“In subsequent years, without exception, all secondary schools will be equipped with cameras to see if again, God forbid, of course, something like this happens, we could find the culprit,” wrote Kernes.
He is convinced that the cause of the incident at school No. 3, as the number of similar cases in other cities of Ukraine became the pranks. However, the appearance of cans of poisonous gas in the homes of Ukrainians reveals serious shortcomings in the rule of law, said Kernes.
“The country is full of unregistered weapons. People are afraid to walk the streets, they do not feel safe, despite the fact that the police – “reformed”. Adults buy gas cartridges, in order to somehow protect themselves from the tyranny and the complete absence of law and order. They then children find these cartridges at home and pull up to the school,” said the mayor.
The city authorities proposed measures will help “locally” to solve the problem, hoping Kernes.
