On the official website of the Royal family released a new statement. It argues that to the altar Megan Markle will be accompanied by Prince Charles – the eldest son of Queen Elizabeth II, who also is the father to Prince Harry and William.
“Miss Megan Markle asked His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales to accompany her to the altar in St George’s chapel in her wedding day. The Prince of Wales is pleased to welcome Ms. Markle in the Royal family this way,” the statement reads.

As we learned earlier, the father of Meghan Markle Thomas will not be able to attend the wedding due to health problems. Last week, according to the British press, the man survived a serious heart operation.
Recall the wedding of Prince Harry and Megan Markle will be held on Saturday, may 19. The lovebirds will exchange vows at St George’s chapel at Windsor castle, and the ceremony will be conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby. Children of Prince William and Kate Middleton, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, the other children will carry flowers to the altar.
