American clothing store launched an advertising campaign that supports the imperfections of women, reports the Independent. New is brand Missguided is models with different faults: overweight, characteristics of the skin and other signs of “imperfect beauty.”
“We are now close to empowering women as never before,” says Maya, who suffers from a rare skin disease (epidermolysis bullosa).
And model Mariana, who was born with a large birthmark on her face says movement: “a non-commercial approach of the brand shows an important message: to accept their flaws and not seek perfection because it does not exist.”
Of course, this advertising campaign does not give a hint of what is to abandon sports, nutrition and self-care. The essence of the other: a man must accept himself as he is, but to improve where this is possible.
