Peskov said that the Ukrainian journalists to work safely in Russia, despite the situation with RIA Novosti Ukraine.
In the Kremlin assured that the Ukrainian journalists will be safe to operate on the territory of Russia, despite the situation with RIA Novosti Ukraine, reports Rus.Media.
As reports UNIAN correspondent in Russia, the journalists said the press Secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, answering the question, what should be the response of the Russian side to arrest the employee of RIA Novosti Ukraine in Kiev, and safe to operate in regard to Ukrainian journalists in Russia.
“Answering directly to the question whether it is safe to be here with news, I’ll tell you: absolutely safe, because in Russia during all those hard years of your career here no limit, and we are in a great dialogue. Unfortunately, this advantage can not boast of our journalists in Ukraine”, – said Peskov.
He stressed that Russia “does not make to wait long to retaliatory measures” if its citizens are such actions as on the staff of RIA Novosti, when the reason for the “restriction of freedom and the presentation of such serious charges is their professional activity”.
Peskov also said that the concerns already expressed by international organizations.
