“In the context of recent contacts of Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov with his Ukrainian counterpart touched on the topic of settlement in the East of Ukraine and implementation of Minsk agreements”, – stated in the message.
He also held a detailed exchange of views on Syria, including on the situation around Afrin.
In the meeting with Putin was attended by the Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko, Chairman of the state Duma Vyacheslav Volodin, head of the presidential administration Anton Vaino, the Minister of foreign Affairs Lavrov, interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, defence Minister Sergei Shoigu, Director of the Federal security service Alexander Bortnikov, the special representative of the President on environmental issues, ecology and transport Sergei Ivanov.
