Berezenko said that the bill on rural medicine involves the construction of 4 th modern clinics in rural areas.
The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko bill No. 7117 on improving the availability and quality of medical services in rural areas involves the construction of about 4 thousand modern clinics, according to a member of the parliamentary Committee on health, Deputy head of the faction “Block of Petro Poroshenko” in the Verkhovna Rada Serhiy Berezenko, reports Rus.Media.
“The budget for 2017 already pledged 4 billion plus 1 billion for next year. For this money you can build about 4 million modern outpatient clinics in Ukraine on a single project,” said S. Berezenko in an interview.
The MP said that dispensaries will be built on a standard project developed by the Ministry of regional development. “One contractor will not be a typical project with a clearly defined estimate,” he said.
S. Berezenko also noted that dispensaries will be built by the joint efforts of territorial communities. “The money will go to communities, or public administration that will apply. Territorial communities will decide whether to demolish or keep the existing clinic,” he said.
“When the new clinics will be provided housing for a family doctor who came from another region,” added Sec. Berezenko.
As reported, S. Berezenko, expects adoption of the bill No. 7117 on rural medicine within a month.
